AVC One Launches Integrated Mobile Unified Communications for Business Customers

New service turns any mobile phone into an end-point for Unified Communications, powering distributed workforce programs with business-class mobile communications

United Kingdom, 25
th Nov 2020 –  AVC One today announced the availability of MobileX, a new Mobile Unified Communications service enabling companies to bring business-class mobile communication to their distributed workforces.

Offered in partnership with Tango Networks, the new service seamlessly extends a company’s existing Unified Communications (UC) platform to any mobile phone. It turns business users’ mobile phones into fully featured extensions of their company’s phone system, boosting business user productivity no matter where they work.

“Today’s business climate demands that companies can ensure employees can be always reachable and responsive, especially when working from home or other locations away from the traditional office,” said Lee Crowe, CTO of AVC One. “Our MobileX service creates a seamless, business-quality mobile communications experience within your existing Unified Communications platform. Calls that currently ‘leave’ your voice infrastructure when they are placed on mobile devices can be brought back under your control for reporting, recording and compliance. In the current remote working environment, this is a major headache solved.”

The new service is based on Tango Networks’ Mobile-X service, the centrepiece of a wide range of use cases, including Mobile UC, work-from-home, remote worker, teleworker, telecommuting, mobile first strategies and business continuity programs.

Business users on MobileX can place and receive calls using their business phone numbers from any mobile phone. The mobile phone can be used just like an in-office landline desk phone, with the ability to transfer calls, hold calls and set up conference calls on the fly.

With MobileX, users can activate these business calling features using the phone’s native dialler interface. That means employees do not need the hard-to-use, over-the-top apps that are not intuitive and that users do not like.

The new service is available for ordering from today. Visit www.avcone.co.uk to learn more.
